Church Activites

Dear Member and friends of the Church,

Due to the ongoing pandemic of the Corona Virus, the leadership of our Church regretfully advises that we must stay closed until further notice.

We want to thank everyone for their cooperation and prayers. We especially want to thank Pastor Deb for her inspirational words. During this trying time she will be available by phone or email should you need to reach her.....as she says "About anything and don't hesitate !"

We must keep praying for others and our country while we strive to go by the protocol set up by our State and Federal governments.

Let us encourage each other by emails, text messages, Facebook posts and phone calls.

Prayerfully,

Jim Rose, Trustee Chair

Hello,

I wanted to take this opportunity to share with you an upcoming Fundraiser that is being sponsored by The Missions Committee on behalf of the Kindness Programs.

During this pandemic, our numbers for our Kindness Program has tripled, which of course, in turn, triples our expenses.  And with our Stay at Home Orders, we were forced to cancel all of our Fundraisers!! We have been serving 300 meals per week to our elderly and shut in population and serviced over 100 children with food bags to help them through the mandatory school closures each week.

Quite frankly we could use your help.

Sooooo in an attempt to be creative and touch as many in the community that we can, we will be having a Telethon on Facebook – Here are the specifics:

WHAT:  Fundraising Telethon for Kindness

WHEN:  Tuesday, June 2nd, 2020

TIME:  1:00Pm – 7:00PM

WHERE:  Facebook Live

To participate in the event on Facebook, put Jess Connor for Maine House in the search box and you will be connected to page and then to the Telethon. (also under events on FCC Facebook)

If you do not have a Facebook Account, you will not be able to see the telethon – but that doesn’t mean you can’t still participate by making  a donation – you can still send a check to FCC, PO BOX 261, Searsport ME 04974 ATTN: KINDNESS.  Please make your check out to FCC with Kindness in the Memo..,, As part of an incentive during the telethon, we are offering a free Mask to any donor of $35.00 or more.

Thank You

Jayne Snowdale
